Instructor: Dr. Peter Holterhoff


Dr. Peter Holterhoff has almost 30 years of experience interpreting sedimentary systems as an academic and petroleum industry professional. The breadth of his experience ranges from regional depositional systems characterization and risking, through play and prospect reservoir characterization and risking to production โ€“ scale reservoir description and trouble shooting. He has worked both siliciclastic and carbonate depositional / reservoir systems over his career, including time in the ExxonMobil URC Carbonate Group as well as teaching and research on Permian Basin carbonates at Texas Tech. He is currently a Senior Advisor (Geology) at Hess Corporation.
